A Few Success Stories....
Below are a Few of My Success Stories
Sky 16.1hh Arab x Polish Warmblood Mare 10yrs.
Competing at Elementary level dressage, her owner complained she was very tense throughout her body and had frequent bucking fits when asked to perform flying changes. After two Bowen treatments, she became far looser, her back swung and her stride increased. When her owner asked for collection she found that the mare was soft and relaxed and the bucking completely ceased.
Rosie 15.1hh Connemara X Mare 15yrs.
Rosie was newly on loan to a riding school. Not sound in the menage and unlevel in trot, she had withers that spasmed on touching. When trotted on a straight line her hindquarters swung out to the right, she was moving on three tracks instead of two. Generally she had a miserable, defensive demeanour. Prone to kicking and very sore on palpation of her hindquarters. The day after the first treatment, her withers stopped spasming, and her nature became sweeter. After a few days she was sound and level. After the second treatment, she was working on two tracks, her body straight. She was no longer defensive about her hindquarters and was progressing rapidly with her schooling.
Queluz 15.2hh 8yr old Gelding Lusitano
Queluz was in training for Working Equitation. His owner complained that he wasn't coming through with his hindquarters during lateral and collected work. Standard physiotherapy hadn't helped. After two Bowen treatments he released and his owner was delighted that he felt unstuck and free. He also suffered from a locking stifle joint. One Bowen treatment released this and he was back in work the next day.
Mickey 16.3hh 27 yr old TB Gelding
After a cut in the field, Mickey developed lymphangitis in his off hind leg. The leg was extremely swollen and tender. He was in such pain that he had to lean on the stable wall to support himself. The vet said it was important for him to get moving. Ten minutes after Bowen treatment, his leg began to seep with serum as it released. He then gained movement in his leg and started to walk in his stable. Soon after he was able to be walked out of his stable and into the menage, where he walked freely. This horse was able to be ridden again by his owner for another six months. His owner states that it was the Bowen treatment which gave her this extra time with her horse.
